Niseko, Japan has always been on my bucket list and a dream destination. I have always wanted to enjoy skiing activity in this beautiful part of the globe where I could get powdered snow. Being a winter sports enthusiast and nature lover, I was thoroughly drawn by the stunning nature of this world-famous skiing destination. Before I move ahead to telling you the way I enjoyed this winter wonderland, I would like to convey that Niseko Japan is not only a renowned place for skiing and other winter activities, but you will thoroughly love the stunning natural beauty.
Apart from this, we were greatly thankful to Aspect Niseko who provided us with the best Niseko accommodation. I was looking for a luxurious holiday and this hotel certainly surpassed my expectations. The strategic placement of this hotel made it very easy for me to enjoy skiing activities along with the nearby places. They also helped me enjoy a great culinary experience at Niseko.
So here is a detailed itinerary of my stunning 6-day adventure in Niseko.
DAY 1: Arrival & Relaxation
11 AM: Arrival at New Chitose Airport (CTS)
We started our journey from Tokyo and landed at New Chitose Airport where I was completely excited to start this adventure in the most renowned place in Japan. As I booked Aspect Niseko and their private car rental service, they were lifesavers. I was completely relaxed as I did not have to take the headache of renting a car or booking train tickets from the airport to the hotel. The luxurious accommodation in Niseko is truly comfortable, as they did take care of transport after arrival. I was able to witness the beauty of the place on my way to the hotel, and I was thoroughly excited about the vacation to this paradise of powdered snow.
4 PM: Check-in into Platinum 3BR suite
We chose Niseko Ski Hotel as they were able to provide great options for accommodations. We chose the 3BR suite as we had other guests who were accompanying us on the journey. The suite is nothing short of spectacular. The platinum 3BR suite has been designed elegantly to my surprise and it has spacious living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The modern amenities and the stunning views that we were able to find, with the floor-to-ceiling windows were truly breathtaking. I was also allowed to use the fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals if I wanted and I am thoroughly in love with their customised services.
7 PM: Dinner at Kamimura International government restaurant
After we were fully rejuvenated and refreshed, we were starving to have a delightful meal. Aspect Niseko referred to Kamimura as their menu features, some of the most exquisite dishes that are particular to this place. It includes Hokkaido Trout Salmon, Kutchan Egg Custard Soup, and Niseko Tomato Salad. We thoroughly enjoyed the combination of flavours and it was a meal to remember after a great day.
DAY 2: Exhilarating Skiing Adventures
8 AM: Breakfast at the lavish sweet
To start the day, we fuelled ourselves with a hearty breakfast which we prepared at the fully equipped kitchen. Aspect Niseko provided great services as they helped us gather the ingredients we needed for a full-fledged breakfast. We prepared and enjoyed a delicious breakfast before we hit the slopes.
12.30 PM: Slope exploration and skiing essential
We were delighted to choose Aspect Niseko for accommodation in Niseko as not only did they provide luxurious facilities and amenities at the hotel, but they also offered a ski rental service. Their help made it easy to start the day and gear up for skiing activity. We took their help and rented everything that was required for the slopes. The perfect snow conditions and the beautiful view around me were breathtaking and truly unforgettable. We spent the entire afternoon on the fresh powdered snow and enjoyed the scenic view.
6:30 PM: Dining at Crab Dining Kanon
After an exhilarating day on the slopes, we decided to dine at Crab Dining Kanon. I prepared a list of the best restaurants nearby and I found that this restaurant specializes in seafood. We ordered fresh crab preparations in different styles and were having a rollercoaster ride for our taste buds.
DAY 3: Snowboarding Thrills
9 AM: Fun While Snowboarding
We decided to enjoy the entire day of snowboarding. I was thoroughly thrilled by watching the waist-deep powder snow surrounding me. It was an excellent condition to enjoy an adrenaline-pumping experience. So, we decided to explore different slopes and improve our skills to enjoy the thrill of snowboarding in this winter paradise.
6 PM: Enjoying Cozy time at Aspect Niseko
After we enjoyed the entire day snowboarding and keeping ourselves absorbed in the snow, we came back to the hotel. We were ready to enjoy a full hearty meal as we skipped lunch and breakfast. We were so engrossed in the outdoor activities that we were not able to take a break. When we returned to our suites, we enjoyed the cozy ambiance present in the living room of Aspect Niseko, where we were able to enjoy a fireplace experience followed by a thermal bath. The uninterrupted view of the surrounding atmosphere and view of Mt Yotei was mesmerizing. After an entire day of adventure, we were off to sleep.
DAY 4: More Skiing and Culinary Experience
10 AM: Skiing with Service from Aspect Niseko
Thanks to our decision to choose Aspect Niseko ski Hotel as true to their words. They helped us with ski and snowboard rental services along with lift passes. We were thoroughly able to enjoy a great time skiing on the different slopes. We were able to choose slopes according to our skiing knowledge. The convenience of having everything added in advance helped us to truly get engrossed in the activities.
6 PM: Dinner at DEL SOLE
We wanted to try one of the most popular names which was also recommended by Aspect Niseko DEL SOLE. We truly had fun while experiencing the pizza restaurant as it was delicious and had a cozy atmosphere. We had the perfect evening meal.
7 PM: Wine with grilled lamb at the hotel
After an entire day of exploration and being involved in different activities, we ultimately got back to the hotel and enjoyed a bottle of fine wine with grilled lamb. It was a great way to unwind after an entire day on the slopes.
Day 5: Explored Niseko
8 AM: Breakfast at Niseko
We started our day with a casual breakfast that we bought from Lawson. They have 2 main “konbini” at Hirafu, Lawson and Seicomart. Who would say no to iconic konbini food, right?
10 AM: Exploring The Nearby Places
We were ready to explore the most amazing places nearby by using the car rental services offered by our hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride as we were able to spot some of the most scenic views and were able to take a peaceful stroll. We visited Lake Hangetsu and Naga Numa. Both of these places were truly extraordinary. After soaking into the beauty of these locations, we returned to our resort to enjoy skiing.
6 PM: Dinner at Seven Lucky Gods
After enjoying the nearby destinations and skiing slopes, we went to Seven Lucky Gods. This was a place that was mainly known for seafood. The grilled shrimp, whole squid, and potato dishes paired with Suntory Draft Beer were truly mesmerizing. We also loved the lively atmosphere of the place, apart from the delicious and hearty meal in the evening.
8 PM: Relaxation at the hotel
We went back to the hotel with a lot of memories in our hearts, and we were ready to depart the next day. We took a warm bath and started packing our luggage to be prepared for departure. The fireplace, relaxed warm bath and wonderful meal helped us to unwind and get ready for departure.
Day 6: Departure
7 AM: Breakfast at the hotel
This was our last morning when we ordered a beautiful breakfast, which was a Bento box to start the day. After we had a proper breakfast, we were ready to depart from this beautiful accommodation in Niseko.
I would like to say that Aspect Niseko was truly a great decision for us. Undoubtedly it is a paradise for skiing enthusiasts and nature lovers like me, but being able to choose Aspect Niseko as an accommodation was truly a memorable experience. They offered exceptional services which were beyond our expectations.
